Heather Uncovered

Heather and I have been inseparable since my start in people photography. She has always been my premier concept model. One amazing thing with Heather is that she never miss a scheduled booking, rain, snow... frigid cold never ever stopped her yet. One thing that is priceless in a model is their work ethics...and Heather is a prime example of a professional.

Heather called me up Friday and we just fooled around with an idea of a photo shoot on the Sunday. Without hesitation I said "sure"... then we left it at that, 9:30am meeting time then do a shoot downtown.

Sunday came and I got a text 8am that she feels sick...so my immediate reply was "are we still going out for the shoot?" and without hesitation she answered "YES". So I met her at 9:30am and she was there looking quite tired but getting ready...so I just said if you don't feel like heading out lets just skip it.

We ended up going for a walk and just doing photos while eating ice cream.

Thanks H for showing me how a professional should conduct themselves, despite all the things you produced amazing photos.

Davao City Workshops Oct 2010

I would like to thank my friends in Davao City, the management and staff of Renaissance Haute Couture and other Davao City based clothing designers to be part of these events. Ms. Julie Simbajon for our official make-up artist and Joann Cong as our stylist and consultant. Special mention to my Davao Coordinator and best friend, Jeff Abrasaldo for the tireless effort in conceptualizing and organizing these workshops. Thanks also to sir Dale Agustin for marketing suggestions and a really admirable organizing and marketing effort.
To the models that confirmed their participation to this workshop, Junelyn Ellis, Tanya Yahya, Wilcon Reuyan and to my good friend Wenna Reuyan... THANKS.
To all Davao photographers of all skill levels... these workshops will be so much fun and looking forward to see a lot of Davao talents to register. There's always new things to learn in photography... and one thing that we(me and my staff)always make sure, that it will be so much FUN.

Cebu Workshop- "Captivate" Oct 13,14

I would like to thank my good friends in Cebu City, Ian Javier and Lester delos Santos for their tireless effort in marketing this amazing Cebu City workshop. Thanks guys you are both really awesome... can't wait to be working with these 2 amazing photographers.
I am inviting Cebu City and Visayas based photographers to join us on a 2 night session. This will be an extensive photography workshop on glamour and lighting that is open to all photographers. Basic photography theories and "rules" will be explored, graduating to more advance topics such as model interaction and lighting("strobbing",understanding ambient and combining both techniques) .

Manila Workshop-"Captivate"

I would like to thank my cousin, Red Dator for the tireless effort of organizing this Manila workshop.

Looking forward to be working with Manila based photographers on this funworkshop.

Lots of Updates... Too little time

My October trip to the Philippines is fast approaching and I have too many projects on the go... and I just want to apologize for not being able to update my blog for a long time...

I will post really cool photos soon enough, since most of my waking hours is spent finishing various projects and some preparation work for Philippines workshops.

Thanks
